About eTwinning

The community for schools in Europe

• The eTwinning action promotes school collaboration in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by providing support, tools and services to make it easy for schools to form short or long term partnerships in any subject area.

• Launched in 2005 as the main action of the European Commission’s eLearning Programme, eTwinning has been integrated in the Lifelong Learning Programme since 2007.

• Students from 3 to 19 years and their teachers from different educational institutions from Europe can participate in it.
