What does ethics mean to you?“ Ethics has to do with what my

feelings tell me is right or wrong ““ Ethics has to do with my religious

beliefs ““ Being ethical is doing what the law

requires”“ Ethics consists of the standards of

behavior our society accepts ““ I don’t know what the word

means”

o What is Ethics?

-Standards of right and wrong which describes what human should do .-It should be examined from time to time to ensure that it’s well founded and not artificial .

What is the difference between ETHICS and MORALITY ?

Ethics MoralityStandards of right and

wrong which lead human to what he ought to do .

Imposed by outside group , a society or a profession , such as “ business ethics” .

The one’s own personal sense of right and wrong .

Not imposed by anyone , such as “ your principles , your beliefs “ .

What is the “ ETHICAL DILEMMA”?

- The process of choosing between two unsatisfactory options .
