and effective leadership by the controlling body”. In like manner, Section 244 of the Public Entities Corporate Governance Act, 2018
leverages ethical leadership and requires state enterprises and parastatals to grow ethical cultures that are measurable. Indeed, Ethical
Leadership is the new measure for an impactful Board and effective executives. Ethics Institute Zimbabwe (formerly Business Ethics Centre)
in collaboration with its global and local partners brings to you the Ethical Leadership & Corporate Governance Bootcamp (ELCG-2018).
This is an intensive ethical leadership, corporate governance and ethical decision-making skills impartation workshop. Dr. Ernst von
Kimakowitz, an ethical leadership development expert in Switzerland, will lead the instruction, supported by Ethics Institute Zimbabwe
Trainers. This workshop is a best practice leadership development programme, and seeks to expound current government drive for a New
Work Ethic and Responsible Business Conduct. This is a must attend for all top-level decision makers and policy makers in both public and

DR. ERNST VON KIMAKOWITZ is a global expert in strategy consulting, ethical leadership development, and integration of ethics in board and managerial decision making processes. He has assisted executives to design their moral compasses in England, Switzerland, and Germany, including providing advice on managing stakeholder conflict and stakeholder dialoguing. His scholarly work is grounded in legitimacy and stakeholder engagement as well as integrative economic ethics in service to humanity. Dr. Ernst von Kimakowitz has undertaken substantial work in social development and in assessing the impact of private sector foreign direct investment in developing countries. He has lectured and delivered speeches at universities in Switzerland, USA, Colombia, and Japan. Dr. Ernst von Kimakowitz is co-founder of the The Humanistic Management Network, and Managing Director of EthicsFirst. He holds a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics (LSE), London, UK, has studied at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany, and Universidad de los Andes, Merida, Venezuela. At University of St Gallen, Switzerland he recently earned a PhD from the University’s Institute for Business Ethics.
