General Recommendations: Electrical Engineers
How deep should one go in catching up on the physics?
Be flexible in thinking - abstract like physicist
Solid State Electronics & Physics II not sufficient →QM1 and orIntroduction to Solid State Physics in first master semester

General Recommendations: Physicists
More like a continuation of the bachelor than a real change
Expect a change of mentality in the engineering classes: learn thevocabulary and how to think like an engineer
Quantum Mechanics II is very useful

General RecommendationsThe subject is ridiculously deep and vast
Don’t specialize too early
If not from EE or Physics Bachelor:
• complex analysis
• electrodynamics
• Analysis (DGL) & Linear Algebra
→ maybe one semester more?
bDon’t skip on the basics
