Turkish Partners and EU Chambers• To transfer best EU practices • To exchange and enhance sustainable environment knowledge • To contribute to the reduction of the Ergene River pollution in

Uzunkopru. • To generalize the objectives of Ergene Basin Environmental

Management Master Plan Project in Uzunkopru.• To support the regional development through increasing the

productivity of agriculture • To disseminate eco-friendly production through awareness raising

campaigns

• Expected Results Expected Results • A sustainable cooperation between Turkey, Romania and

Greece to be established.• Dissemination activities to be held to promote eco-friendly

production.• Spot observation visits to be organized to transfer best

practice examples from EU.• Awareness seminars were held for agricultural producers

and farmers in Uzunkopru.• Uzunkopru Environmental Action Plan was created. This

plan is the most important outcome that will guide the industrial producers and farmers in the region.
