GeneralThe well-known ETA-pump on the bearing bracket C and D isconstructed in accordance with DIN 24 255 standard andcompletes the performance range up to max. 1800 m3/hr (6600 Imp.g.p.m., 7900 USgpm). The graduation of pumpsizes enables you to select a model of high efficiency and lowabsorbed horsepower under any set of operating conditions.
Field of ApplicationGeneral water supplies for municipalities, industry and agri-culture; water works, pressure boosting and irrigation plants;circulation of hot water, cooling water and oil; as condensate,building sites, and loading pumps etc.
DesignHorizontal single and two stage centrifugal pump with volutecasing flanged onto the bearing bracket. Sizes 100-50/2 and125-50/2 are two-stage. Overhung radial flow impellerequipped with balance holes for hydraulic balancing.Renewable casing wear rings and shaft protecting sleeves.
BearingsAxial and radial location by two oil lubricated deep groove ballbearings in the bearing pedestal. Grease lubrication onrequest.

Maximum Peripheral Speed:
For cast iron impellers 40 m/sec (131 ft/sec) (diameter in metres x R.P.M. x 3,14) 60
Use cast chrome-steel or bronze, for higher peripheral speeds.
Temperature:
Maximum operating temperature for all sizes:
with standard stuffing box N 105°C (uncooled stuffing box)with hot water stuffing box HW 140°C (cooled stuffing box)
For higher temperatures, refer to S.G. cast iron construction.
Lubrication:
The pump shaft runs in two oil-lubricated ball-bearings.The bearings and the bearing bracket should be flushed with petrol or benzene while slowly rotating the shaft. After cleaning and complete removal of the cleaning agent, the bearing bracket should be filled with oil, Maximum and mini-mum oil level are indicated by marks on the dipstick.Only high-grade branded oils conforming to the following specifications should be used:
