*****************************************************************************************

2 Check of Data1. Check that the correct software is loaded for the concerned RPs.

Command: EXRUP:RP=rp;

Printout: RP SOFTWARE UNIT DATA

2. Check that the EM and devices are correctly defined.

Command: EXEMP:RP=rp,EM=em;

Printout: EM DATA

3. Check that the RP is working.

Command: EXRPP:RP=rp;

Printout: RP DATA

4. Check the initial data for the DIP.

Command: DTIDP:DIP=dip;

Printout: DIGITAL PATH INITIAL DATA

5. Check for connected SNTs for the DIP.

Command: DTDIP: DIP=dip;

Printout: DIGITAL PATH

6. Make sure the SNTs are correctly defined.

Command: NTCOP: SNT=snt;

Printout: SWITCHING NETWORK TERMINAL CONNECTION DATA

***************************************************************3 Test of EMsIn this test the EMs are de-blocked and brought into service. The RP - EM interface is also tested.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. De-block the EM.

Command: BLEME: RP=rp, RPT=rpt, EM=em;

2. Check that the EM is working (WO)

Command: EXEMP: RP=rp, EM=em;

Printout: EM DATA

3. Repeat from step 1 to step 2 for all remaining EMs of this type. When all EMs on the RP pair are de-blocked and WO continue with the next step.

4. Transfer control of all the EMs to one RP.

Command: DPECS: RP=rp,CM=ALL;

5. Verify that all EMs are in state WO.

Command: EXEMP: RP=rp, EM=ALL;

Printout: EM DATA

6. Transfer control of the EMs to the other RP.

Command: DPECS: RP=rpt, CM=ALL;

7. Verify that all EMs are in state WO.

Command: EXEMP: RP=rp, EM=ALL;

Printout: EM DATA

8. Initiate load sharing.

Command: DPECS: RP=rp;

******************************************************************4. Loop Test of DIPThis test should verify the boards are working and also that the cabling is correct. This is achieved by putting a loop on the DIP and de-blocking. For this test the loop must be done at the DDF side, not on the ETC32 PIU (plug-in-unit).

Block the DIP when finished. It should remain manually blocked if it is not used for long periods.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. De-block the concerned DIP.

Command: DTBLE:DIP=dip;

2. Check status of the DIP, it should go ABL.

Command: DTSTP:DIP=dip;

Printout: DIGITAL PATH STATE

Note:

When the DIP goes ABL the SNT should stay WO.

3. Connect the loop plug in the DDF for the DIP.

4. Check status of the DIP, it should go working.

Note:

The alarm ceases long after the DIP goes working.

Command: DTSTP:DIP=dip;

Printout: DIGITAL PATH STATE

5. Block the DIP.

Command: DTBLI: DIP=dip;

6. Repeat step 1 to step 5 for all concerned hardware.
