AerocetParticulate Mass Monitor and Particle counting in asingle unit. The 531 combines hand-held portabilitywith highly precise measurements. Data records arestored in memory and may be transferred to a PCusing the supplied software or printed using theoptional portable printer.

A remarkably flexible, higher performanceinstrument featuring:

• Operates as either a particulate counter or mass monitor

As a mass particular monitor, particles are detected,sized and counted in multiple size ranges. Massconversion is made using standard conversionfactors, or by using user-programmable factorsbased on unique conditions. The particle mass canbe displayed as PM1, PM2.5, PM7, PM10 or TotalSuspended Particulates.

When configured as a particle counter, size-basedparticle counts are displayed as cumulative (countsabove threshold) above 0.5 and 5.0 microns, thetwo most popular size ranges.

Rugged, reliable and fully EU approved,these samplers can be used for a multitude of urbanand industrial applications.

Remote Sensing Device (RSD) -AccuscanThis quick, unobtrusive drive-by measurementsystem enables vehicle emissions to be tested “in-situ”. The main benefit of this technology isthat the motorist is not required to stop for amanual exhaust pipe test, which is labourintensive and often requires a police presence.The system's digital camera photographs eachvehicle's registration plate and advanced softwaremerges vehicle registration information with theemissions result and registration plate image. The entire process is accomplished in a fraction ofa second. RSD measures fine particulate matter(PM and PM2.5) - the most harmful pollutants indiesel exhaust with greater accuracy than basicopacity testing. RSD also measure carbonmonoxide, hydrocarbons and nitrogen in dieselexhaust.
