Establishing a Geocities Account

Step 1

Point your browser to the geocities website:http://www.geocities.com

Next to “GeoCities Free” click “Sign Up”

Step 2

• If you already have a Yahoo! account, log in.

• If not, click “Sign up”.

Step 3

• Create a Yahoo!ID

• Pick a password

• Enter personal account information

• Verify your registration (helps prevent automated registrations)

• Click “Submit this form”

Step 4

•Choose the type of website you’re intending to build, how you found out about Geocities, and the verification code.

•Click “Submit”

If all has gone well...

…you will see the following message. You’ve successfully set up your web space on the geocities server. Click “Build your web site now!”
