ABOUT ME
I started learning skiing while I was doing an exchange program in Italy.
While taking the classes I felt that skiing experience was unlike anything I had felt before.
Skiing was a big challenge for me, specially because I had fear of heights.
Skiing helped me to confront my fears and anxieties.
When I am skiing I feel independent and relaxed. It is a complete physical expression of freedom.
Contribution to personal and professional development:
1. Challenge
2. Strategic thinking
3. Stubbornness
4. Persistence
5. Networking
1. CHALLENGE
• Set your limits and your
targets
• Challenge your fears
• Live great new
opportunities
• Excitement
•Achievement

2. STRATEGIC THINKING
• Be ready to change a

“Gotta use your brain, it's the most important part of your equipment. ” Kevin Andrews and Warren Miller, Extreme Skiing
3. STUBBORNNESS
• Never give up
• Overcome your fear
• Be confident
• Fall down and stand up
“It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves”. HILLARY, Edmund.
4. PERSISTENCE
• Sometimes when I am in
the middle of a ski slope
and I fell exhausted or
scared, I know that I can
not give up. I have to keep
going until the end
• Achieve the goal:
everytime I go skiing I
have a different goal
“Skiing is a dance, and the mountain always leads.”
5. NETWORKING
• Make new friends from all
over the world, with
different language and
culture
• New experience
• Work in a team
• Interaction with friends
• Professional opportunities
