At ESCO, we have earned customer

As a pre-construction benefi t to our clients,

we assess the site space constraints,

environmental hazards, geology, import/

export balance, and aesthetic value. With

budget being a high priority, we look

into many alternative solutions such as

reutilizing on-site resources, recommending

more effi cient design changes, providing

material alternates, and working towards a

balanced site. Many of our projects require

installing wet and dry utilities, which, if

poorly designed, can drive up development

costs. We look at the site layout and

determine whether the pipe alignment,

depth, and lengths are ideal for the site.

decision to move forward with construction.

This also allows a broader timeframe to make

design changes, material substitutions, and

other project alterations prior to beginning

construction. It is our goal to fl ush out the

costly and time-consuming problems that

often occur during construction before a

machine hits the ground.

IN-DEPTH SITE ASSESSMENTS

STRATEGIC CONTEXT

Your project begins in our office where

our staff transforms the plans into

3D digital models. This allows ESCO

to quantify the project in detail, plan

the entire operation, and prepare

for execution. With our sophisticated

software, we can enter the site-specific

geotechnical data into our 3D models

and analyze each material type and

density to calculate accurate volumes,

site specific production values, and

analyze risk potential. We can then plan

haul routes, create mass haul diagrams,

and calculate structural areas. During

this process, ESCO identifies plan

discrepancies, site balancing strategies,

and potential shoring needs all without

stepping foot on site.

We input all processed data into our GPS and machine control systems

to streamline our performance in the fi eld. This system gives our

operators real-time, on-screen information which boosts performance

by eliminating grade checkers and re-work. We also perform site layout,

slope staking, and topographical maps to monitor progress.

ESCO performs a variety of earthmoving operations including mass excavations and overlot

grading, sub-excavation, structural excavation and backfill for buildings and structures, road

grading, and final site grading. Since the beginning, we have been refining our earthmoving

operations by utilizing the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment.

Our equipment incorporates GPS and machine control technology, along with production tracking

units, that allows us to perform precise grading faster and with greater precision, utilizing less

manpower – resulting in the lowest possible costs to the ownership group. Our large equipment

fleet consists of dozers, loaders, excavators, scrapers, graders, rollers, compactors, skid steers,

trucks, power screens, and crushing equipment.

ESCO’s vast experience in construction management makes us the top choice for your site

development’s General Contractor. For many years, ESCO has acted as a General Contractor for

our own developments as well as many successful developers along the Front Range. We have

completed projects ranging from high-end, estate-style subdivisions to high-density residential and

multi-family developments. Utilizing our relationships with various jurisdictions, subcontractors,

and other industry professionals, we can assemble a team to satisfy any infrastructure needs.

As the General Contractor, ESCO will coordinate all the trades to eliminate unnecessary

mobilizations, prevent scheduling conflicts, and avoid gaps and overlaps in each trade contractors’

scope of work. Our proactive, turnkey approach offers our clients the benefit of our relationships,

coordination, and value engineering, resulting in reduced project cost and duration. We also

perform many state and municipal projects as the Prime Contractor, which requires additional

management, project oversight, and subcontractor partnerships.

With our focus on providing turnkey project solutions,

our utility division has played a large role in the

company’s success. We install domestic water and

sewer systems, storm drainage pipeline and related

structures, water/wastewater yard piping and force

mains, septic systems, and dry utility conduits. We

excel at large-scale subdivisions, large diameter pipe,

drainage work, and rock excavation. Our long-term

relationships with many engineers, suppliers, and

vendors extend many benefits to our customers that

are unmatched in the region.

Safety is our first priority. ESCO utilizes many

different shoring solutions in order to provide a safe

and productive work environment in difficult and

restrictive conditions. With a full time Safety Manager,

along with continuous OSHA training of our staff, we

take pride in our remarkable safety history.
