Quebec City is among North America’s most unique and appealing destinations. Experience its four centuries of French heritage, irresistible “walled city” charm, as well as its scenic and historic core with plenty of variety to see and do. Admire the impressive snow and ice sculptures adorning the city, visit the Ice palace and much, much more! Upon arrival, check into the Palace Royal hotel, located just outside the St. John Gate and a true gem in the heart of downtown Quebec. (D)

    Day 2: February 3Today you will enjoy a 2 ½ hour Quebec City Winter Tour. Your tour will include the Plains of Abraham, Cape Diamond, The Joan of Arc Garden, Grande-Allée, Parliament, Place d’Armes, Old Québec, Château Frontenac and especially Place Royale – the oldest most beautiful park of the city! Make sure you’re warmly dressed, because you will take a walk through the narrow roads of Place Royal. You will have time at your leisure before enjoying a guided visit at Ice Hotel, the first and only true ice hotel in North America! This evening you will enjoy the Lower Town Carnival Parade.     Day 2: april 24This morning a local guide will meet you for a full day of touring. Visit an Amish home and enjoy a delicious full breakfast. Continue to Coblentz Leather featuring a nice selection of handmade leather goods for men,

    women, and your home. Next you will visit the David Warther Museum. Here the carver himself will take you on a guided tour. Drive through Sugarcreek, part of Ohio’s Amish Country but also known as the “Little Switzerland of Ohio.” (B, L, D)

    Day 3: april 25Depart the hotel this morning with a local guide and head to Hershberger Baskets. Here you will meet Mattie Hershberger the head of an Amish Family and owner. Watch her make her beautiful hand-woven baskets. Next is P. Graham Dunn, a one-of-of-a-kind shopping experience offering a wide selection of high quality wood décor and gifts. Proceed to Lehman’s Hardware for shopping and lunch on your own in their Café. This is the “grandma” of bulk food stores! Beyond the rich history, Boston is home to diverse neighbourhoods, and a legacy of arts and culture. Accommodations for the next three nights will be at the Holiday Inn Bunker Hill. This hotel is ideally located less than a mile from Boston and all the history and area attractions of Boston. (D)

    DaY 2: MaY 8Today you will meet your local tour guide for a historic tour of Boston. Learn about the different districts of the city including Back Bay, Beacon Hill and the gold domed state house, Boston Common – America’s first public park and the Public Garden. Don’t miss the Massachusetts State House, once headquarters for English governors and later the site where the Declaration of Independence was read to the waiting citizens of Boston. Next will be Old North Church, the site where Robert Newman climbed the steeple to hang the two lanterns and warn that the British were marching upon Lexington and concord! You will also visit the USS Constitution, located in the Charleston navy Yard. Lunch and time to shop will be at your leisure at historic Quincy Market. The remainder of the day will be free to enjoy at your leisure. If there is enough interest an optional side excursion will be offered to the New England Aquarium however admission would be additional. The centrepiece of this aquarium is the Giant Ocean Tank, a large 4-storey high circular tank which holds a replica of a Caribbean coral

    reef. View sea turtles, bonnet-head sharks, stingrays, tarpons, tropical fish, barracuda, eels, and other reef creatures! (B)
