Warning: Always turn off all electrical power before removing or servicing the actuator.– Theactuatorispoweredusinga24VACtransformer,3VAminimum.– Removethefourcoverscrewsandliftthecoverofftheactuator.– Removeone(ortwo)ofthewiringknockoutsandinstallone(ortwo)ofthe“conduitfittings”.Allwiresmustgothroughthesefittings.– Attachthe“common”fromthecontrol(ortransformer)toterminal“N”.– Connectthecontroloutputforclockwiserotationto“UpperterminalL1”,andconnectthecontroloutputforcounterclockwiserotationto“LowerterminalL1”
Auxiliary Switch– ESBE91M,92M,92-2Mand93Mactuatorsincludeonefullyadjustableauxiliaryswitch.Thewiringshouldbeconnectedasshownin.Tosettheswitchingposition,turnthecam(see).Reinstall the cover and secure it, before turning on the power.
Adjusting the Degree of Rotation– ESBE90seriesactuatorsdonotrequireadjustmentwhenusedwithESBEvalves.Howeveriftheactuatorisusedforanapplicationthatrequiresadiffer-entdegreeofrotation,themiddleandlowercamscanbeadjustedtoprovidebetween30°and180°ofrotation.Foraccesstothecams,thecamoperatingtheauxswitchmustberemoved.See.Always turn off all power before adjust-ments are made.Test:Testthevalverotationtoensurethevalveisallowedtofullyopenandfullyclose.Rotationsof30°to180°arepossibleviamiddleandlowercamsforapplicationsthatrequirethem.Foraccess,aux.switchcammustberemoved.

ESBE Series 90 ActuatorINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (ForSeries60actuatormountinginstructions,refertoinstallationinstructionsincludedwithactuator). Placedrivesleeveontoshaftandsecurewithscrew.Rotatethesleeveandvalveshaftuntilthepointerisalignedtoposition5onscaleplate.Mountthreadedstudinthelowerleftthreadedhole.For1½and2"valvesreplaceoneofthecoverboltswiththethreadedstud.Tightenmountingpieceontothreadedstud.Mounthandleoverdrivesleeve.Handlemustbemountedoppositetothepointerofthedrivesleeve,&facingawayfrom.Mountactuatorontosleevesothatmountingpiecefitsintothelockingpiece.Pushlockingpiecetolockinplace.Labelsaresuppliedtoindicatethedirectionofrotation.Determinethedirectionofrotationandmountthecorrectlabelundertheplasticfrontcoverofactuator.Note:Alwaystestrotationofthevalveinmanualpositionmodetoensurethatthehandledoesnotinterferewiththeactuatormountingstudandmountingpiece.Manual Operation:Alwaysdisconnectpowerbeforeoperatingbyhand.Notepositionofdrivesleevepointertobereturnedto.Depressthegraybutton,“A”,onthesidetoreleasethehandle.Thevalvecannowbeoperatedmanually.Never manually operate when gears are engaged.
