The Pax-6 mutant allele used for all of the studies presented in this paper is thePax-6 Sey allele, not the Pax-6 Sey-Neu allele. The appropriate genotype of ourmice has been confirmed by using PCR analysis. This change in the genotypicidentification of the Pax-6 mutation used for our studies does not alter thesubstance of our observations or conclusions.
