• Lack of interconnection between departments.• Lack of accuracy in maintaining the financial records

such as Fees, Salary and Expenses.• Lack of easy means or quick way to access old

records.• Lack of means to provide parents and guardians the

fast access to student records.• No quick or easy way to keep the records of students

and staff error free and up-to-date.• Accessing information from paper files was a difficult

Two Implementation Phases, Six Months Each

• Rigorous implementation process with SAP India and implementation partner Caritor (India) Pvt. Ltd.

• Back-office implementation – including HR, materials management, and finance and controlling software – took six months.

• Implementation of SAP for HE&R took another six months.

• It was one of the fastest implementations of its kind on record.

• ISB also implemented the SAP NetWeaver Portal component to enable employee and student .

• Went live in 2006.
