Paging counters (on BSC level)
Paging counters on cell level. The new counters are only for the PCH queue in the BTS. Pages on PPCH are not queued in the BTS:
Random access (Cell Level). The number of successful and failed random accesses are registered and information about the distribution of the reasons for random access is also available. A failed random access burst does not necessarily lead to a call setup failure, as the MS sends many RA bursts each time it tries to connect to the network. A high number of RA failures might be caused by bad BSIC planning or interference

Counters for dropped connections on AMR full rate. The general counters for dropped calls on all full-rate codecs are still stepped when one of these counters specfic to AMR codecs is stepped. For example if an AMR full-rate connection is dropped because of low signal strength on the downlink in the overlaid subcell then TFNDROP, TFDISSSDLSUB and TFDISSDLSUBA are all stepped.

Speech quality supervision measurements for TCH/Fs (Cell Level). The object type CELLSQI contains three counters that show how the speech quality indexes are distributed, according to subscriber perceived quality, as good, acceptable and bad for the underlaid subcell. These counters only step for speech version 1 (FR and HR) and speech version 2 (EFR) codecs. There are three matching counters for overlaid subcells. Twelve new counters have been added to the object type CELLSQI to monitor the speech quality separately for AMR full rate and AMR half rate codecs and per underlaid/overlaid subcell. The thresholds that classifies the SQI values into these three categories are 4.5 dBQ and 16.5 dBQ, i.e. everything below 4.5 dBQ is "Unsatisfactory", everything between 4.5 and 16.5 dBQ is "Acceptable" and everything above 16.5 dBQ is "Good".

Subscriber initiated disconnections. (Cell Level) The counters are stated in order of urgency status, e.g. if a call suffers from both bad signal strength and too high timing advance the disconnection is counted by DISETA. When TCH is used for speech, at all received CLEAR COMMAND messages from the MSC, with cause code 'call control', the normal disconnection counter (DISNORM) is incremented. Additionally, a counter is incremented per type of urgency state as indicated by the function Assignment or Handover:
Excessive TA (DISETA), that is if the TA value at a disconnected connection is higher than or equal to the cell parameter TALIM. Low signal strength (DISBSS), that is if the signal strength is less than the BSC exchange properties LOWSSUL and LOWSSDL in uplink or downlink respectively, or in both the uplink or downlink. Bad radio link quality (DISBQA), that is if the radio link quality is less than the BSC exchange properties BADQUL and BADQDL in uplink or downlink respectively, or in both the uplink and downlink.
