Vipin Aneja

Even without a formal training in the art of singing, Vipin Aneja

has been wielding the mike from the tender of age of 4. He, in

fact, even won a State Level singing competition at the age of 10

but it was only after he returned to India from the US after

having completed his Bachelor of Business Administration, that

he started taking formal training in music. Since then, for the

past three years, he has learnt formal classical music from Pandit

Balmiki Sharma, a protg of Ustad Ghulam Hussain Khan of

the Rampur Gharana. His penance has served him well as he

won the National trophy at the All-India Sangam Kala Award

1996. He has also won the Azia Dausy award at the International

Pop Music Competition held at Almaty, Kazakistan in 1997.

Soon after winning these awards, he made an impression in the

minds of music lovers with remix release of the hit Qurbani

number Hum Tumhe Chahte Hai Aise featured on Magnasounds

super successful Album Club Class released in 1998.
