Built-in Network PrintingCapabilityThe DP-180 comes standard with a built-innetwork board and an Ethernet LAN port, so youcan set it up as a network printer that can beused by PCs on your LAN network. No specialoptions are required. In addition, the standardUSB 1.1 interface allows direct connection to adedicated PC.

Automated Network Installation Capability*The DP-180 allows simple network installation. Simply plug the networkcable into the DP-180’s Ethernet port, and the network information isautomatically acquired from the server. No complex setup required. *Requires a DHCP server on the network.

High-resolution of 1200-equivalent x 600 dpiIn addition to standard 600 x 600 dpi print resolution, you can boost printresolution to 1200 dpi-equivalent x 600 dpi (in PCL/PS mode) by addingour optional printer controller. This gives crisp, clean printouts withsuperior legibility and halftone gradations — even with very tinycharacters or complex images.

Standard Duplex Printing and CopyingFor added convenience, the DP-180 comes standard with a duplexprinting unit that enables you to easily print on both sides of the sheet. To keep your paper consumption to a minimum, you can also use duplexprinting when printing out faxes or copying.
