What is Equality?

• Being equal, especially in rights, status or opportunities. All individuals should be treated equally, and there are laws in place to ensure that this happens. In accordance with the law, organisations have equality policies to ensure that everyone is treated equally.

What is Diversity?

Recognising that people are different from one another and they have their own unique individuality, personality, identity and social and cultural background.

What are Rights?

• Rights are legal entitlements. For example, an individual has the right to live in society without being abused or intimidated because of their gender sexuality race skin colour beliefs or culture.
