Equality And Diversity I nto Leadership Programme Cohort Two 'From the very first meeting until my final work shadowing exper ience t his cour se has been full of opportunities and experiences to help direct my attention towards becoming an educational leader. During the course I have met some truly inspirational leaders and each has managed to leave their mark on me. ' 'I conveyed my sincere thanks to my coach; she has been a source of constant motivation and encouragement since the start of the course. Had I not embarked on the BAME Leadership course, I wouldn't have pushed myself out of my comfort zone and looked for opportunities.' 'The course has given me plenty of opportunities and experiences, helping me to develop various features of leadership. I got to meet some very interesting people. One of the best aspects was the Mock I nterview, especially the feedback as I now feel sufficiently confident to attend any interview for leadership.' T he second cohort of our Equality And Diversity I nto Leadership Programme is planned! Beginning in November and running through the rest of the academic year, delegates will be advised and coached on all aspects of leadership; from writing application forms and letters through interview skills to how to succeed in a leadership position when promoted. Delegates will be paired up with a coach and will also have the opportunity to shadow an existing BAME colleague in a leadership role. Work Shadowing Weeks - walk in the footsteps of and with great leaders for the day as you get a real insight into leadership positions

Review, reflection and evaluationThe course concludes with a celebration of the successes of the cohort and a reflection on how delegates have

progressed since the start of the programme
