TheLQ-50fitsalmostanywherethankstoitssmalldimensions,whichmeasurejust275x240x153mm.A24-pin,50-columndotmatrix,theprintertakes6-inchpaper,andisidealforlocationswherespaceisatapremiumsuchasdeliveryvansandsmallshopcounters.It’sevensuitablefordustyordirtyenvironmentswhenusedwiththeoptionalprotectiverollpapercover.

Tohelpkeeprunningcostsandmaintenancetimedown,theLQ-50hasaribbonyieldofapproximatelythreemillioncharacters,whichcanbeextendedusingdraftmode.Italsohasameantimebetweenfailureofaround10,000hoursforyearsoftrouble-freeoperation.LowpowerconsumptionqualifiedbyENERGYSTARfurtherreducesthetotalcostofownership.
