Spring Semester 2009
The Epsilon Mu Chapter faced a considerable amount of transition and growth over the course of this semester. The election of a new executive board coupled with nine new active members this semester lead to some dynamic shifts. New Archon Patrick Sullivan has implemented several new positions in order to give new younger members an opportunity to lead and make contributions to the house. Among the new ideas enacted by Sullivan include the creation of assistant positions for historian and chaplain, a restructuring of the scholarship chair’s responsibilities and the separation of the Social and Risk Chairs into separate positions.
Alumni Spotlight
• Jason Brandt spearheaded
the creation of a forum to
allow for better
communication between the
alumni and active members
of the house
• Alumni Housing Corp is in
the preliminary stages of
attempting to get a chapter
house for the fraternity
• The Epsilon Mu chapter

and on his wedding to
Rachael Bloom in May.
Chapter Update • Spring Rush lead to the
initiation of three new members: Nick Popravak, Corey Greenstein and Dakota Kuhlman
• This semester marked the graduation of Bill Coons, Andrew Finley, Steven Evangelista, Matt Rock, Ed Gillen and Matt Weaver
• This year our chapter raised $3,454.72 for PUSH America and ranked 17th amongst national chapter donations.
A Word From the Historian
Reflecting on the past semester, the Epsilon Mu brotherhood experienced a lot change. With the graduation of several members of the chapter, the Epsilon Mu chapter finds itself in a state of flux. This last year saw the initiation of twelve new members into our brotherhood, coupled with seniors’ departure, puts the chapter in a new and exciting place. As the chapter soldiers on into the future, the continued support and encouragement of the alumni of the Epsilon Mu family becomes even more important.
Sincerely, Markus Johnson Historian.
