of making sure their graduates are well equipped for taking on the new challenges society and business face in the 21st century and beyond. The mind-set has gradually shifted from having to be skilled in one specific topic, to having the capacity to think and act in broader terms. What should business schools do to secure the right set of skills in their graduates for them to take up the grand challenges being created by Industry – 4.0. Under this session an attempt will be made to identify skills and competencies needed by leaders and future graduates to take up future grand challenges. B-schools will have to prepare MBA students for jobs that do not exist, using technologies that haven’t been invented yet, for solving problems we don’t know are problems yet. 10:00 am - 11:30 am Plenary Session 4 Topic: Regulatory Policy for Developing Futuristic B-School in India Regulatory framework for MBA/PGDM Programmes was introduced in 1990’s which was based on the context of

the business environment prevailing during pre-liberalization period. It laid too much focus on physical infrastructure and inputs to these programmes. Post-liberalization, Indian economy has radically changed from primarily a manufacturing economy to a global economy with dominance of the service sector. During 2011 to 2014, MBA/PGDM Programmes faced a rigid regulatory regimes, which underwent a major change after 2015 onwards. Looking forward to the next five years or so, there is requirement of a regulatory framework which is supportive to innovation, experimentation and entrepreneurship.
