EPOS Seismology Workshop including the 2017 ORFEUS Annual workshop and EMSC General Assembly 25 – 27 October 2017, Lisbon, Portugal First Circular What A three-day workshop to learn about and discuss EPOS-Seismology, including hands-on experience of EPOS-Seismology services, and a special focus on EPOS GNSS services and their interconnection with seismology. In combination with the ORFEUS Annual workshop, with a focus on Seismology on the Iberian Peninsula and in Northern Africa. The annual EMSC General Assembly will take place during this workshop on the evening of 26 October. Where The workshop will take place at IPMA, Portuguese institute for Sea and Atmosphere www.ipma.pt and ISEL, High Institute of Engineering of Lisbon www.isel.pt Both venues are within easy reach of the Lisbon airport, on the red line metro Logistics A dedicated workshop website will be opened soon, including registration information. A limited contingent of pre-booked hotel rooms at special conditions will be available (first-come / first-serve basis), information will be provided on the workshop webpage. Any accommodation with good access to the red line metro 1 is convenient to attend the workshop.
