    P Blessd are you, O LORD;C teach me your statutes!

    P How can a young man keep his way pure?

    C By guarding it according to your word.

    P With my whole heart I seek you;

    C let me not wander from your commandments!

    P I have stored up your word in my heart,

    C that I might not sin against you.

    P Blessd are you, O LORD;

    C teach me your statutes!

    P With my lips I declareC all the just decrees of your mouth.

    P In the way of your testimonies I delight

    C as much as in all riches.

    P I will meditate on your preceptsC and fix my eyes on your ways.

    P I will delight in your statutes;C I will not forget your word.

    Apostles' Creed (8:15)

    C I believe in God, the Father Almighty,

    maker of heaven and earth.

    And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,

    who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

    born of the virgin Mary,suffered under Pontius Pilate,

    was crucified, died, and was buried.

    He descended into hell.

    From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

    I believe in the Holy Spirit,

    And in one Lord Jesus Christ,

    the only-begotten Son of God,

    begotten of His Father before all worlds,God of God, Light of Light,

    very God of very God,

    begotten, not made,

    being of one substance with the Father,

    by whom all things were made;

    who for us men and for our salvation came down from hea

    and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary

    and was made man;

    and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate.

    He suffered and was buried.

    And the third day He rose again according to the Scripture

    and ascended into heaven

    and sits at the right hand of the Father.

    And He will come again with glory to judge both the living

    Thrivent BUILDS with Habitat for Humanity 2011

    Once again, the wonderful opportunity of building a new home and a new life for a deservingfamily is here! This is the third year in a row that our Thrivent chapter has collaborated with

    Habitat for Humanity and that our congregation has joined forces with other central ArkansasLutheran churches. Your help is needed by volunteering on the jobsite, pitching in financiallyand praying for the safety and timely completion of the project.

    As volunteers you can show up once, twice or even weekly if you have the time. Dont worrythat you dont have building skills, because there is a fantastic crew there to show and teach you.Volunteers are scheduled Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week, usually for half a day.

    The Lutheran community is responsible for $8,800 of the total cost for the build. Our

    portion of this is $2,400. We are trying to make this goal by March 1 st. Please consider giving any amount is welcome.

    Once the final decision is made for the build site and family, there will be further bulletinannouncements as well as visual displays to show you what an awesome experience this is.Contact me for additional information and or if you can help. See me in person or call me on mycell 681-8034.
