Epicor Storefront 8.0 is a comprehensive electronic commerce solution that allows companies to provide Web-based sales functionality to their sales people as well as partners and customers. Fully integrated to Epicor Enterprise Supply Chain Management (SCM) using Web services, the solution supports multiple companies, languages, and currencies in one single Web site. The administration tools augment the master data management capabilities in Enterprise SCM with configuration options for product search tree, product details, images, campaigns, users, and more. PRODUCT EXPOSURE Make your products and offerings searchable via the Internet, together with availability, customer discounts, and net prices. The product search tree simplifies the search and offers a good overview of your product range. Individual products can be promoted via news or campaigns and be ordered with just a few clicks. Similar products can be grouped as Product Models with common product information to simplify presentation and maintenance. ONLINE ORDERS AND QUOTES Depending on permission level, the user can create, edit, or delete orders and quotations. Real- time availability and customer net prices can be displayed. One part of the Enterprise Product Catalogue is

included as an integrated part of the

Storefront. The Catalogue offers an interactive

image with clickable hotspots for ordering of

individual items. A typical application is

ordering of spare parts via exploded views.

PRODUCT CATALOG

Epicor Storefront Catalogue is an extension of

the built-in catalogue function. It allows for the

management of multiple market-adjustedversions of the catalogue that can be printed as

well as displayed online.

The Product Catalogue offers these capabilities:

• Print a complete spare part catalogue or just selected chapters or pages

• Create a table of contents for each chapter in the catalogue

• Define catalogue page layout using Crystal Reports®

• Create PDF files for download

• Import of pictures and stock item lists from existing spare part catalogue

• Market-adjusted stock item selection (one hotspot can mean different stock item’s depending

on market)• Customers and salespeople can print catalogue pages directly from Storefront

Online Sales of Complex Product

PRODUCT CONFIGURATION

As an option, Epicor Product Configurator can

be installed as an integrated part of the

Storefront. The Configurator guides the user

through the process of purchasing a complex

product which normally would require a skilled

salesperson.

A configuration step represents a component

or action of a specific type (component type).Steps are numbered and linked to a certain

component type defined in the system. Steps

can be optional. Steps have a list of linked

possible physical components of the same type

that can be used in product construction.

A configuration rule describes relations between steps. Rules enforce certain dependencies

between configuration components.

Attributes are component features/characteristics that help to describe components. Attributes can

be numeric or enumerated (i.e., colors). They are used to filter components and to define rules.

Components represent the physical product elements the product is constructed from.

Components always belong to a certain component type and may have attributes. Components

must be linked to physical stock items.

A Configuration is a set of steps and rules that describe a product structure. Configurations are

grouped in Product Groups.

Standard products represent physical stock items constructed from defined components and

corresponding to a certain configuration defined in the system.

Product Packaging

The Epicor Storefront is available in one single version and additional optional extension

packages to attract the varying types of companies within our customer base and priced

according to capability. Activation of optional extension packages is controlled via the license

key. In addition, a hosting solution is supported to enable low-cost pilots as well as complete

live setups.

EPICOR STOREFRONT 8.0Licensed per server and provides support for unlimited named customers and unlimited named

salesmen for a single Enterprise Trading Entity. Tools are included for configuration of layout

style, menu structure, product search tree and editing of Storefront pages. Standard catalogue

features are included and can be extended with en extension package. Log in is required for all

users. With an extension package (Design Pack), multiple styles can be defined and Storefront

can be accessed by unregistered users.

unregistered users /B2C). Design templates can be set up for product detail pages with links to

user defined tables for additional product content.

Additional Enterprise Trading Entities may be added to extend the base product to provide a

common web site for multiple companies. One license required per extra Trading Entity.

EPICOR STOREFRONT 8.0 DISTRIBUTED SITE ADMINISTRATION PACK

This license includes an extra instance of the system settings tables which means that multiple

system instances can be defined within the same Storefront web site. Also, a unique URL can

be defined per instance. This opens up for distributed sites. One license is valid for unlimited

distributed sites.

SITE INSTANCE MANAGEMENT

Epicor Storefront 8.0 Card Payment: With this option, common payment solutions such as

PayPal can be connected. Some providers may need additional integration work. An updated

EPICOR STOREFRONT 8.0 CATALOGUE

Extension to the standard catalogue included in Storefront 8.0. Enables bulk importation of

catalogue data from Excel, separate catalogue pager per market and printout of catalogue

pages, chapters or full catalogues. Catalogue design can be adjusted via Crystal Reports.

(Requires separate Crystal Reports license). Full Catalogue features (import, markets & print)

EPICOR STOREFRONT 8.0 PRODUCT CONFIGURATOR

Complete product configurator fully integrated to Storefront. Includes Configuration Designer

(client application), Configurator Preview Client (client application for testing purposes) and

Configurator web client.

• Storefront Product ConfiguratorEPICOR STOREFRONT 8.0 SYNCHRONIZER

Storefront Synchronizer is required when Storefront is hosted without any direct connection to

the Enterprise database. Storefront 8.0 Synchronizer handles the data transfer between the

Enterprise database and the hosting provider SQL database in both directions. One license is

required per combination of Enterprise SQL Server and Hosting SQL Server.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Enterprise Storefront operates with Enterprise 7.3.6 SP2 and so on, running on SQL Server.

Enterprise Storefront is an ASP .Net application running on Microsoft IIS. The system is best

viewed using Microsoft Explorer 6 or later. The maintenance tool used by the system

administrator requires Windows XP or later.
