EPG - Electronic Program Guide

tmEPG offers a complete EPG solution. It supports multiple EPG formats (XMLTV, AnyTimeTV…) coming from different sources (FTP, Transport Stream, HTTP…) and it converts these data into the desired output data format.

Thanks to the plug-in based system, tmEPG is scalable, easy to expand and allows the programming of new capabilities. This scheme makes the system easier to tailor to each client requirements. The development kit (SDK) built in tmEPG, allows the development of new plug-ins to add new features to the system.

PIS - Plug-In Structure SDK - Software Developer Kit

The tmEPG Software Development Kit incorporates to the system the capability of building new plug-ins, which add new features to the system. Plug-ins for new formats, sources or destination can be developed.

Key Points

• Integrating tmEPG with external infrastructures is easy thanks to the SDK provided. It is possible to write applications for gathering or providing EPG data to external servers using any proprietary format.

• tmEPG has been integrated with the most important IPTV platforms in order to share EPG. Among others it is compatible with MiViewTV from Alcatel-Lucent and GLF (Global Listings Format) for Microsoft Mediaroom.
