Interesting ideas how to reach a large number of people

• Estonia 15th of April 2010 - restaurants and cafes offer the

same meals for 2 different prices. Estonian language gives a

humorous chance playing on content words. The word „gap“ means

also „salmon“. So most of the restaurants offered salmon=gap

sandwiches, salads or soup. Meals, snacks „with dill“ refer to male

and „without dill“ to female

• Hildesheim organized a bike race through the number “23” for the wage gap percentage.

• Berlin, Germany Shops offer 23 % discount for women

at an „Unhappy Hours“ and others, like cafes, hairdressers, wellness clubs and gyms.

• 2010 – over 40 participating stores • 2011 – about 90 participating stores • 2012 - we are expecting over 100 !!!

Women‘s favourite IKEA articles at 23 % (pay gap in Germany) reduced price for one week in 45 IKEA chain – stores.

• Movie evening in Switzerland and Germany: „We want sex“ is a british movie, that dramatises the Ford sewing machinists strike of 1968 that aimed for equal pay for women
