Pollution
• Pollution can take many forms, the air we breathe, the water that we all have to drink, the ground where we grow the food we eat, and the noise everybody hears daily. All of it contributes to our health and our ways of life.
Ukraine• Due to the Chernobyl disaster that occurred in
1986 Pripyat, Ukraine is still considered one of the worst radiated places in the world. Air pollution is really severe in many of the heavily industrialized cities and towns of southeastern Ukraine.
• How they are trying to fix this problem: they are spending money and researching new ways to produce power, that isn't environmentally harmful.
ChinaChina has many problems with their pollution.
• Water pollution: They are affected by both severe water quantity shortages and severe water quality pollution.
• Air pollution: air pollution could become the biggest health threat.
• Industrial pollution: hundreds of thousands of premature deaths of serious respiratory illness have been caused by exposure to industrial air pollution.
• What they are doing to fix it: Shut down two of the three steel manufacturing foundries
India• In Sukinda India, their water contains many
bad chemicals. Causes from such bad water pollution the people that drink it get bad
