ParksideThe Parkside has been a staple in ELA’s line for years as an answer

for a vandal-proof outdoor fixture. Available in two sizes and

three mounting conditions (pole, crossarm and wall), The Parkside

is a perfect specification for shopping malls, parks, parking lots,

government buildings, site and walkway lighting, schools, libraries,

and much more.

Constructed of high grade cast aluminum, designed with vertical

fins and finished with a powder-coated finish; The Parkside is built to

endure the toughest of outdoor conditions and resist most attempts

at vandalism. The Parkside can also meet the performance standards

of today’s lighting demands. It’s available with an internal refractor

or hood reflector for Type III or Type V optics. Available in up to

a maximum 400 watt Metal Halide or 250 watt High Pressure

Sodium, The Parkside can also accommodate today’s Low-Energy

requirements with up to 57 watt CFL, 120 watt Induction, 140 watt

CosmoPolis or 110 watt LED.

With its classic traditional style, superior durability and high

performance standards, The Parkside is the perfect solution to a

full array of lighting applications while specializing in vandal-

resistance.

SpecificationsFixture Housing: One-piece sand-cast. Housing shall be corrosion resistant cast aluminum alloy #A356. The housing shall be free of any foreign materials or cosmetic fillers. Standard fitters shall slip over 3” or 4” diameter tenon. Please consult factory for other options. For other mounting op-tions, consult factory for installation. Optics: Units shall be hydroformed or segmented sharp cut-off optics. Specular Alzak® optical segments are rigidly mounted within a sand-cast, low copper (<0.6% Cu) aluminum alloy enclosure. For vertical lamping option, either an open lamp or prismatic borosillicate glass refractor will be utilized.

Electrical Module: All electrical components are UL and CSA recognized, mounted on a single plate, and factory pre-wired. All sockets are factory pre-wired. A quick-disconnect plug for the ballast module is standard. Reference pages 2 and 3 for lamp characteristics, ballast types, and voltage technical data.

Lens: One piece acrylic lens shall be silicone gasketed all around (sealed from water and insect entry).

Finish/Color: Finish is super TGIC thermoset polyester powder coat. ELA offers RAL color matches along with our standard color selection. Custom and hand applied colors are available upon special request.

Certification: Fixtures shall be listed for outdoor, wet location. UL1598. IP rating 65.

CAUTION: Fixtures must be grounded in accordance with national, state, and/or local codes. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury.
