Organisation

• Country coordinators in app 100 countries
• New call for coordinators will be launched in November 2020
• Coordinators tasks:
• Coordinate activities in own country
• Spread awareness of activities
• Act as a link between ENO, ministries, local administration, schools, etc
• Translate material where necessary
• Report to ENO annually

ENO Tree Planting Day
• International tree planting day since 2004
• Since the launch over 10 000 schools in 157 countries have participated
• Two annual days for planting, standing together with UN
• UN international day for biological biodiversity 22 May
• UN international day of peace 21 September
• Also whenever it is suitable in your country

ENO Weather Week
• Twice in a year activity in a specified time period
• Observe weather from different aspects; the temperature, air pressure or the amount of rainwater for example. Can you name the clouds or is there snow?
• The schools are organizing the event themselves with the equipment they have. ENO offers the observation form and international network to share and discuss about the results.

• Creative and artistic approach is important for ENO:
→ Objective is to raise environmental awareness about sustainability through the creative arts.
• Creative thinking is one of the strongest ways to create a better planet for everyone → ENO supports children’s creativity and seeks to raise their awareness about sustainability.
• ENO=ONE: We are united in our thoughts about the Earth, ecology, nature, and a sustainable future. We represent ONE tree with thousands of leaves. We share ONE goal but know there are thousands of ways to reach it!
