Enviro Board Overview

Enviro Board has developed and patented a technology for the

production of strawboard panels which have been successfully

used in construction for over 70 years.

The U.S. Green Building Council's LEED specification is mentioned in 71% of all

projects valued at over $50 million.

The value of green building construction starts was up 50% from 2008 to 2010 — from

$42 billion to $71 billion — and represents 25% of all new construction activity in 2010.

According to projections, the green building market size is expected to reach $135

U.S. legislation, introduced and passed by Senator Harkin, requires the Federal

government to buy with prejudice and bias environmental products over non-

environmental products. The Company’s two products are entirely environmental.

This legislation coupled with tax incentives in The American Recovery and Investment Act

of 2009 and LEED tax incentives and other legislation confirm a legislative trend

mandating the use of environmental products.

Enviro Board panels are ―concrete like‖ fiber board

Fire Resistant

• ASTM E84-61 requirements for non-combustible materials

• A 1 ½ hour fire rating with two strawboard panels bonded together

• Lack of pore space prevents oxygen combustion

• Carbon formed in the charring acts as an additional fire barrier

Moisture Resistant

• Full immersion for 2 hours = approximately 6% absorption

• Dry manufacturing process = low moisture content in panels

• Additional stucco plaster or alternative weatherproofing material used in construction

• High Axial Strength - Inherent fiber strength and

flexibility can withstand wind speeds up to hurricane

force

• Excellent Insulation Properties – greatly reduces radiant

heat transmission; retains interior coolness

increased use of Enviro Board fiberboard panels and

engineering systems in all new home construction by

the Los Angeles Housing Department and homes

funded through federal programs, such as Housing

and Urban Development.

To date, HUD has allocated to the City of Los

Angeles a total of $142.6 million to implement

the NSP in various targeted communities

throughout the City.
