cushion covers, etc. The spiritual elements of the beauty of individual

things, and the importance of understatement and reserve, convey

traditional Japanese aesthetic values. No single object imposes itself

on the visitor’s senses. Rather, all of the adornments blend harmoni-

ously, eliciting a response through subtle, restrained representation.’

The Hotel’s spa and beauty retreat also works with scent to leave a

lasting impression with guests. A delicate essential oil blend including

ylang ylang, frangipani and jasmine calms the spirit and promotes

Philippe Chapelet and Patrick Elouarghi are the creatives behind this

urban, innovative, and daring space. Chapelet and Elouarghi would not

be “restricted to a one-dimensional criterion of service”. They were

and freedom to explore.”
