VISION

Vision:
As the Vice President of Social Events, my job involves working with the International Students’ Center, and other Offices in planning for Entertainment and Sports Events. I oversee and consult with 2 important Officers who are in - charge of the Entertainment and Sports Events dockets (both appointed by myself), and give the final decision based on meetings and discussions made.
My main satisfaction is from seeing joyful faces of the attendees and participators of events that have been successfully organized or co-organized, by my team and I. This is what encourages me to work harder in ensuring the “home away from home” feeling is created and implemented in the lives of both Chinese and International students who have travelled far and wide from their homes to come and study at a renown University such as the UESTC.
The Latin word, “Carpe Diem” is what reminds me to achieve the best results in my office.
