Southern Cross Enterprise Lab is a central hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in the Northern Rivers. It’s a dynamic place where solution-driven entrepreneurs start, grow and scale with the Enterprise Lab providing access to space, knowledge, talent, and resources to turn ideas into action.

The Enterprise Lab is launching the Ideation Program – a six-week workshop series to develop solutions and entrepreneurial skillsets in the Northern Rivers region.

We are looking for motivated individuals who want to acquire the skills needed to become a successful entrepreneur. Working with local business and industry partners, passionate individuals will come together to work on generating positive solutions for challenges facing our region.

This is a free program with only 25 places available. We aim to select a diverse and motivated group of people who will form long term connections with our entrepreneurial community.

What is it?

Twenty-five members of the community will come together to work on conceptualising solutions that will benefit the Northern Rivers. You don’t need to come with an idea, just a willingness to think outside-the-box and work in a collaborative team. We’ll provide the creative tools, inspirational mentors and the space required for you to begin your entrepreneurial journey.

Over 6 weeks from April 28 until May 31, 2018, you will need to commit to attending one workshop per week at the Southern Cross Enterprise Lab in Lismore. The Enterprise Lab is accessible and available to participants during this period, offering space for co-working, high-speed internet and expert support.

The Ideation Workshop will culminate in an exciting event where teams pitch their ideas in front of a live audience and a selected panel of potential contributors who have been identified as key people who could help your project progress to the next level.

The workshops will take place at the Enterprise Lab at Southern Cross University, Lismore campus.

When

Ideation Program runs from the April 28 until May 31,2018. We need you to commit to six face-to-face workshops and the pitch event. Those sessions are:

If you are accepted to the program your team will receive the following support: • Access to co-working spaces at the Enterprise Lab

• Mentoring from our network and experts• Retain the equity in the idea you are working on

Once you have submitted your application, our team will assess it and get back to you.

Cancellation

This program is running with a select group of people. We hand pick the speakers, we have designed a road map and we will be organizing the panel who can take your team to the next level. If you are accepted into this program, it means that someone else is not. Please consider any prior conflicting engagements before committing to this program.
