  4. 4. Introduction What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of robot. What is robot.! A machine that imitates a human, capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically and works on artificial intelligence
  5. 5. Different fields of Robots Robots in Entertainment Robots in Industries Robots in underwater Robots in medical Aerial robots Spy Robots
  6. 6. Entertainment Robot An entertainment robot is a robot that is not made for utilitarian use, but for the pleasure
  7. 7. 2 Types of Entertainment Robot Real Time Robot performing in real time in a live event. Non-Real Time A Non-Real time robot performing task after capturing something.
  8. 8. Advantages Real Time Non-Real Time A performer can observe and feel a spectator's reaction. A spectator can enjoy the feeling of presence. Prior editing of the performance is possible so that a perfect performance can be shown. It can be repeated any number of times, at any time.
  9. 9. Disadvantages Real Time Non-Real Time When a performer makes a mistake, it is difficult to redo the action. It is difficult for spectators to have the feeling of presence.

  13. 13. Robots in Movie industries Current Hollywood blockbuster movie GRAVITYGeorge Clooney and Sandra Bullock acts as surviving astronauts from a damaged space shuttle.
  14. 14. Robots in movie industry Robot cameras use in Hollywood movie.GRAVITY Bot & Dolly, boutique design studio which redevelop robotic arms, perform tasks such as automotive welding and painting.
  15. 15. Robots in Movie industries Software & Hardware Autodesks Maya animation software was used to control the robots, and a custom computer interface translated the pre-visualized CG animation shots into physical camera moves on the set that captured the actors faces in the proper alignment.

  17. 17. Functioning 3 main instruments in EMMI. MADI Multi-mallet Automatic Drumming Instrument CADI Configurable Automatic Drumming Instrument PAM Poly-tangent Automatic multi- Monochord
  18. 18. Musical Robot Challenges Any one removes the acoustic drum actuated by a solenoid so that no sound would be produced and the robotic percussionist will continue blissfully playing along.
  19. 19. Humanoid Robots The Humanoid Robotics Project (HRP) is sponsored by Japan's Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry (METI) and New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). The HRP series also goes by the name Promet, these robot use in dancing purposes

  24. 24. Actroid Actroid is a type of android (humanoid robot) with strong visual human-likeness developed by Osaka University. Unveiled in 2003 International Robot Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan.
  25. 25. Actroid The Actroid woman is a pioneer example of a real machine similar to imagined machines called by the science fiction terms android or gynoid, so far used only for fictional robots. The "Repliee" models are interactive robots with the ability to recognize and process speech and respond in kind.
