you WIll NeeD:•Shrek the musical activity Sheet • White card or thick paper

•Scissors - lollipop sticks/straws • Sticky tape

•Cardboard box (a large shoebox is best)

•fabric to make curtains for your stage (optional)

Print the activity sheet onto card or thick paper, and carefully cut out your favourite Shrek The Musical characters.

Securely attach a lollipop stick or a straw to the back of your puppets using sticky tape.2Your Shrek The Musical characters are ready to take to the stage and let their freak flag fly.3

Stand your shoebox on its side, with the lid attached. The lid of your shoebox will make the front of your stage, so mark out a rectangle as tall as your tallest puppet, making sure to leave at least a 3cm frame around the top and sides. Mark out a slightly smaller rectangle on the base of your shoebox, big enough for your hands to fit through! Carefully cut these out.

To make your shoebox look more like a Shrektacular puppet theatre, why not add fabric curtains to the sides of the box?

Now your puppet theatre is ready to go! Assemble your puppets and on with the show!
