The Board has a stewardship responsibility to both understand the risk areas, communicating the requirements of this policy and to guide the organisation in dealing with these risks. l Manage risks proactively. Current and potential risks must be identified, evaluated, understood and dealt with. Managing risks does not mean managing weaknesses. l Manage both negative and positive risks. Ensure that negative risks are managed and mitigated; and that the positive risks are optimised; to maximise shareholders’ value. l Manage risks pragmatically, to acceptable levels given the particular circumstances of each situation. A cost - benefit approach is needed where the returns must commensurate with the risk taken. l Ensure that risk assessment is performed and that the process is embedded in the system. All proposals relating to strategies, key project approvals; significant actions or investments must include a risk assessment summary; and that risk assessment should be part of the business processes. l Manage risk routinely and in an integrated and transparent way in accordance with good governance practices. l Require that an effective and formalised risk management framework is established and maintained by Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad. Pendekatan kos dan manfaat diguna pakai untuk memastikan pemulangan setara dengan risiko yang dihadapi l Memastikan penilaian risiko dijalankan dan proses diserapkan ke dalam sistem. Semua kertas cadangan berhubung dengan strategi, kelulusan projek utama, pelan tindakan atau pelaburan yang penting hendaklah disertai dengan ringkasan penilaian risiko; dan penilaian risiko haruslah dijadikan sebahagian daripada proses perniagaan. l Mengurus risiko secara berterusan dan bersepadu serta telus mengikut amalan tadbir urus terbaik. l Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad perlu mewujudkan serta mengekalkan rangka kerja pengurusan risiko korporat yang rasmi dan berkesan. The Board has a stewardship responsibility to both understand the risk areas, communicating the requirements of this policy and to guide the organisation in dealing with these risks.
