enterprise level projects including our recent upgrade from HCM 9.0 to HCM 9.2.

• SharePoint offers a wide range of built in features• SP 2013 introduces a ‘store’ for purchasing additional features

• Incorporates MS Office tools, which most users are familiar with

• Reduced Cost/Maintenance • Many institutions already have SharePoint

• OneNote• Meeting notes are easily accessible by project team members• Easily searched and categorized

• Excel• Utilized functionality within SharePoint to create web parts to

• Features can be activated to allow users to email a SharePoint list, or include the SharePoint calendar in meeting invitations

• MS Project Server is now integrated directly with SharePoint, using the Project Web Application (PWA)

• This functionality creates a portfolio view• Outward facing page allows executive and third-party view of

project timelines and workload• Individual SharePoint pages for projects are used for

tracking tasks, issues, project documents, etc.• Resource information can be managed at an enterprise

level
