HFM Property: Regus
Challenge:
Codec-DSS worked with Regus in September 2012 around the Implementation
of a tactical solution to replace the existing financial management system.
Solution:
Codec-DSS went on to propose and implement a re-architected solution for financial reporting. We also ensured that the new architecture had inbuilt redundancy and that performance to the end users was significantly enhanced.
Benefits:
Improved reliability of the HFM system. Reduced downtime. Consistent close window and delivery of reports to the business Improved confidence in the HFM application throughout the group Faster response times.
29
HFM Banking: RBSChallenge:
RBS replaced excel based reporting packs with Oracle HFM consolidation tool
Providing a single portal for consolidation, reporting and analysis
Along with a streamlined month end consolidation process.
Solution:
HFM, EAL –11.1.1.4- latest release with security additions/
partial snapshots, Essbase, FDM , HFR and SmartView.
Benefits:
• High data volumes, structures and users passing near real-time queries
• No requirement for IT involvement in month end reporting cycle-
near real time reporting from HFM through Essbase
• No data is stored in Essbase -data is stored in EAL data store
• Integrate historic and live data sources seamlessly (partitions)
• Re-map HFM metadata to create ad hoc reporting cubes
