Trust in Him
Dear Parishioners,
In our busy world we can so easily get overwhelmed with all our to do’s. The manytasks and deadlines of our employment, our responsibilities at home and with our family. Are the bills paid? Did I get my child’s project supplies? The list can be endless, theworries never end. Today’s readings give us a simple answer, to all our worries andquestions.
Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be givenyou ...1 As servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God ...2 Do not worryabout your life, what you will eat or drink ...1 The Lord will never forget you ...3 Trust inHim at all times ... pour out your hearts before him ... you shall not be disturbed ...4
As we struggle to find the balance, we are reminded to trust in Him, for He knows ourneeds. Let us address each day's problems as they come. Confident that we are in God'sloving care.
We are not asked to forget all our responsibilities but to continue in our daily task, withjoy and love, that others may see Jesus through us.
This Lenten season, perhaps we can work on letting go of our worries and anxieties.Come be at peace in the presence of our Lord. Come to Adoration every Friday of Lentin the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Do not worry of what to pray about or do, let yourselfjust be ... in His presence, in His loving embrace.
