Readings: Baron, Chap. 5 Assembling a Team; Chap. 6 Financing New Ventures

Lecture: The Timmons Model of the Entrepreneurial Process Recommended reading: New Venture Creation, Timmons, Chap 3 The Entrepreneurial Process

Case Due: Stegmart (Baron Pg. 378). The report should be individually prepared, typewritten and consist of pro forma income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements for the first three years of the company. The case will be discussed in class.

Workshop:- Exercises 3 -5 should be completed. Questions and comments welcome.
