Tested to Meet Your Expectations Ensto has fully equipped and calibrated test-ing laboratories in-house. We test our prod-ucts to ensure meeting the toughest national and international standards – in fact, we test

beyond standard requirements. We work with many international test laboratories and use well known external laboratories for certifica-tion testing.

Ensto accessories for medium voltage covered conductors are tested for compliance with the EN 50397-2 standard. This international over-head line standard sets test requirements for the accessories used with covered conductors (e.g. PAS/BLL).

Network AutomationControl for You and Your Assets Whenever and WhereverNetwork Automation means more flexibility and powerful tools for recovery from a fault. It also plays an essential role in smart grids, which allow customers to participate actively in the electricity market through a two-way flow of energy and information.

Ensto’s network automation products play a key role in rapid post-fault recovery and im-proved reconfiguration of the grid. Our smart pole-mounted reclosers detect faults as they occur and then attempt to restore the line to its normal status automatically. Furthermore, our range of solutions covers load-break switches with remote control for medium voltage over-head lines, pole-mounted circuit-breakers for the protection of low voltage overhead lines, and distribution panels and fault-detectors for use in underground cable networks.

Expertise in Automation and Remote Control EquipmentEnsto Novexia’s solutions are widely recognized especially in France and in other French-speak-ing areas. Ensto Novexia has an office and fac-tory in France´s Villefranche-sur-Saône and a factory in Bagnères-de-Bigorre.

Power ElectronicsImproving Power Quality Line by Line All the Time

Why Focus on Quality of Electricity? Quality requirements are set for electricity distribution in, for example, the EN50160 standard. According to this standard, the line voltage is to remain within ±10% of the nominal value. Ensto´s Power Electronics Solutions help you avoid extra costs caused by falling outside this range.

Our Power Electronics team focuses on research and development of devices, that maintain quality of electricity in low voltage distribution networks.

Intelligent Devices for High Electricity QualityThe devices we develop and manufacture represent the lat-est innovations, and their purpose is to improve the quality of electricity at the remote end of a low voltage distribution net-work, so that electricity of always equally high quality can be delivered throughout the network.

Ensto Voltage Booster Correcting the Voltage Drop In sparsely populated areas, the distribution distances for low voltage electricity can be long. In such situations, distribution losses may cause the voltage level to drop. The Ensto Voltage Booster deals with the reduced voltage at the remote end of the network.

Ensto Voltage Controller Multitalenting the Low Voltage Grid Ensto Voltage Controller is a single phase unit that can increase and decrease the line voltage level at the problem points of a low voltage distribution network. If a customer is experienc-ing problems with lowered or high voltages (caused by solar panels for example), the Ensto Voltage Controller is an ideal solution to solve the problem.

Ensto Phase Balancer stabilizing the VoltageEnsto Phase Balancer corrects imbalances in a three phase low voltage grid. It reduces flickering of electricity and harmonizes and increases the short circuit current in the line.

Ensto Medium Voltage Overhead LinesWe offer integrated product packages for various medium voltage overhead line systems. Our accessories are tested in line with the EN 50397-2 standard for medium voltage cov-ered conductors.
