Second Turn-in: Assignment must be correct and complete

Between 1st & 2nd Turn-in: You compare your answers to the posted answers & evaluate, mark-up /correct.

►show evidence of reviewing and re-evaluating the original work to get credit for the second turn-in

►Corrections must alter or be incorporated into the original assignment answer

►Require you answer a Reflection question & attach this to the lab you just reviewed

Double Turn-in Assignment Rules First Turn-in:

Leave space for corrections (fold over a column on the page)

Second Turn-in:

►Use a different coloured pen/pencil

►Use check marks for correct answers

►Use ’s and strike-out text for errors (don’t erase)

►Add clear, concise corrections to your original answers to make them right (but don’t copy answers)

►Attach answered Reflection Question(s) to the front of the lab being corrected

Double Turn-in Assignments

Your instructor’s name or lab time

LAB NUMBER and LAB NAME 1. Helpful practices for double turn-in labs:

a) Write all answers on lined paper (except where specific sheets from the Lab Manual or graph paper is used). Reserve a column (about 1/3 of the page) for second turn-in corrections.

i. Answers must be reported using the lab’s question order. Whenever possible, insert printed Lab Manual tables/ or graphs that contain answers in their appropriate spot (if out of order indicate where these are in the assignment).

ii. Identify your answers by numbers and headings as they are indicated in the Lab Manual.

iii. As shown above in purple, write your name, ENSC 201, & lab time/instructor name on the top right corner to help trouble-shoot when assignments go into the wrong drop-boxes.

iv. Only use a title page if the first answer page is so full you cannot clearly include the needed information. In such cases, create a cover sheet for the required information (still use the top right corner, etc.).

2. Short answers are acceptable provided they are appropriate, clear, and complete enough to answer the question.

3. Calculations must show your work -- only part marks are given for calculation answers providing a number without

indication of how it was derived. So, include units, conversions used, steps in the calculation etc. If you aren't sure how to record this mathematically, explain it in words so markers can follow what you are doing. Showing your work is required for full marks , and is considered when marking exams.
