Wednesday 24th January English Delve into the murky world of murder in Benjamin Zephaniah’s ‘Teacher’s Dead’ and become a reading detective. Join us for a writing workshop to support you in your detective campaign. Wednesday 30 th January languages Learn how to solve a crime in French! Log on and have a go on www.alienlanguage.co.uk to learn parts of the body. Then use www.atantot-extra.co.uk to practice clothes and colours. These skills will help you understand how to report back on your investigation in French Wednesday 6 th February computing A body has been found and a murderer is on the loose. The Game is a foot. Get organised! Make sure you keep your blog up to date by creating a virtual record of your investigation. Special visitor science What is it like to be a forensic scientist? A guest forensic archaeologist will be joining us to tell us what he does in his day job. Check with your teacher to find out when you can meet our guest speaker! On-going opportunities maths How can you create the best party in town for bonfire night? Use your problem solving and newly acquired algebra skills to ensure your guests will be well entertained! On-going opportunities P.E There are plenty of opportunities to un-cover your sporting potential during extra-curricular sports clubs this term. Thursday 24th January geography Man-v-Nature: Can we manage rivers to prevent flooding? Come on Thursday 24th January to learn how to carry out tests on the river. Then sessions on the 7th and 14th February will help you to write up your report.

Wednesday 30th January computing Is life a game, a chance or a lottery? Use computer design to decide! Get organised! Make sure you keep your blog up to date by creating a virtual record of your investigation.

Wednesday 6th February science Are you afraid of the dark? During science club we will be making our own videos that show how light and sound can be manipulated.

On going opportunities English Do we seal our fate through the choices we make or are we just fortune’s fools? Join us any Thursday at 3pm in the English area for additional help and support with your Independent Learning.

On going opportunities maths Number crunchers! Puzzle your brain into the land of numbers! Come and join the Number Crunchers in P16 on Wednesdays. Don’t delay, come today!
