Part 1 - Spiritual Metaphysics

Welcome to the 7-part course, Enlightenment Now!

Enlightenment is a goal of all people, whether they realize it or not! If its not a

conscious goal, then its an unconscious goal because enlightenment is something

we are designed to achieve along the way to the ultimate stage of fulfillment.

The meaning of the word enlightenment is, literally, to add light to something. By

adding light to your understanding of the nature of reality, you can gain an uncanny

ability to master the challenges of life.

Once a person realizes that there is a spiritual dimension to reality, lifes mysteries

are more easily explained. The workings of the universe are, in essence, simplicity

itself. In fact, when you come to understand how this reality was created, it all boils

down to one big, Aha!

Once you know the basic spiritual principles, life becomes remarkably easy because

then it all makes sense! These basic principles add to your existing knowledge and

your existing faith in the spiritual dimension of life.

As a dedicated spiritual researcher, I have come to realize that a new version of the

science of metaphysics is needed as the bridge that will bring spirituality and science

together. Lets face it, the division between science and spirituality has gone on far

too long. Today, people are becoming more enlightened and they expect spiritual

teachings to explain the mysteries of the cosmos, just as they expect science to

explain a lot more than just nuts-and-bolts materialism!

The meaning of the word metaphysics is the study of the nature of that which is

beyond the physical. It is a science that deals with the mundane as well as withhigher consciousness. Spirituality focuses on higher consciousness, but often relies

on faith alone, without the support of the knowledge provided by metaphysics.

My focus has always been on the spiritual aspects of metaphysics so, in 2005, I

decided to put the two words together and began using the term, spiritual

metaphysics. This gives definition to a field of study that brings the light of

understanding to spirituality and goes beyond basic metaphysics.

An all-inclusive definition of Spiritual Metaphysics has to include the ultimate

consciousness which is behind all of Creation:

Spiritual Metaphysics defines the nature of reality based upon the all-pervasive

consciousness which is behind Creation and all of its manifestations.

In this 7-week course, we will look closely at the all-pervasive consciousness which

is behind Creation. We will see how Creation was achieved and learn new ways to

apply this knowledge to our own lives.

We will see why change is so rampant in the world today, why everything seems to

be speeding up, and how to apply that insight into gaining mastery of the emerging

New Reality.

Next, we will examine the cosmic scale of Creation and see what that means to our

perception of the nature of God. Now that humanity has abandoned the idea that the

Earth is the center of the universe, we are ready to appreciate the vastness of

Creation and therefore the scale of its Creator. More importantly, we will also see

why, paradoxically, this brings us closer to the presence of God than ever.

Part 2 - The Conscious Universe

In Part 1, Spiritual Metaphysics was defined as the study of the nature of

reality based upon the all-pervasive consciousness which is behind Creationand all of its manifestations.

Everything in existence is composed of 100% consciousness. It may seem

like a solid, physical world. It certainly acts like one. Once in a while, I am

reminded of just how solid it is when I bump into something!

However, if you consult a book on general physics, it will point out that

matter is actually composed of energy particles. That doesnt sound so solid

after all. It also raises the question, What is energy? To find the answer to

that, you have to go beyond todays physics and into the realm of spiritual

metaphysics.

Energy is compressed consciousness.

Just like everything in the universe, energy is 100% consciousness. It has to

be, because the Creator had nothing else to work with besides

consciousness. Therefore, the material world, with its apparent solidity, wascreated from compressed consciousness.

Going back to the very beginning of the universe, Infinite Being was stirred

by its initial motivation to go into action and create a way to see itself from

an infinite number of viewpoints.

Infinite Being the perfect, unchanging Absolute or Godhead then

formed an aspect of itself that we call the Creator. This aspect was charged

with a mission to take action and create what we now know as the universe.

The problem was, how to achieve Creation using nothing but

consciousness.

It cant be achieved by simply swirling consciousness around inside a

doughnut-shaped shell of a universe. What was needed was a way to

separate original consciousness into two complementary aspects and then

have them interact with each other in a productive manner.

An example of an interplay of energies is the production of light. Light

energy manifests when electricity and magnetism are intertwined at a

certain frequency and then projected across the universe.

Its not hard to imagine that our physical bodies are a form of solidified

sunlight. Its rather like the Jedi master Yoda said in the original Star Wars

trilogy:

Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.

Indeed, our physical bodies are made of luminous energies and our non-

physical souls are even more luminous examples of the works of the

Creator.

Its little wonder that yogi masters have referred to physical reality as the

great illusion because it simply isnt what it seems. You could go even

further and realize that this world of solidified consciousness is really a

dream world created in the mind of God and not just this world, but the

entire universe.

The scale of Creation is staggering. Knowing, as we do today, that we live

in a huge cosmos filled with trillions of suns and planets, how do we relate

to a Creator which, by definition, has to be greater in size than its creation?

Whatever happened to the old, familiar idea of God in the sky? How do we

relate to a God that is bigger than we can possibly imagine?

The answer lies in the traditional, but little-understood, concept of the

three Os. Its a concept I was taught as a child in Sunday School, that God

is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient. The all-powerful part goes

without saying, but its the all-present and all-knowing parts that point the

way to the answer to this quandary.

The consciousness of Infinite Being, courtesy of its Creator aspect, is

present in every molecule and every subatomic particle in existence. It is

present and aware in every part of your body, mind and soul. Every

molecule of your body is an aspect of the Creator, looking at life from its

own unique point of view.

Not only is every molecule in existence part of the consciousness of Infinite

Being, we, as humans, have the added faculty of self-awareness. We were

created to act as self-empowered individuals who, like actors upon the stage

of life, experience the effects of our own decisions and actions.

The analogy of life as a theater filled with actors is quite appropriate. In the

fabricated-reality world seen in the movie The Matrix, the lead character

Neo woke up to the fact that his limitations were largely self-imposed and

that his mind could be developed to rise above them. We, too, find

ourselves in a world filled with many kinds of apparent limitations, many of

which are not as solid as they seem.

Materialistic science claims that you are an accident of biological evolution.In truth, you are so much more: You are an aspect of the Creator, looking at

life from your own unique point of view. You are an aspect of the

omnipresent awareness of Infinite Being.

You dont have to look outside of yourself for God because God is within

you!

As you experience life through your eyes and ears and senses, you areInfinite Being, acting through yet another viewpoint of the infinite variety

of life. Every fiber of your body is Infinite Being, every dream that you

manifest is Infinite Being in action, every tear of joy that you shed in the

finer experiences of life is a tear shed by Infinite Being in its form as you.

You can be closer to God than ever before when you realize that every part

of your body, mind and spirit is God. Even in this strange world where we

appear to be separate from everyone else, the conscious awareness of thepresence of God is a mere thought away.

Next, well see how we reflect the abilities of the Creator by examining our

inbuilt, creative power.

Part 3 - Long Live God!

God is dead. Long live God!

It is a centuries-old European tradition that, when a King died, he was

promptly replaced by his successor so that no vacuum of power came into

existence. In the streets, the people heard both items of news at the same

time, that the old king was dead and the new king had been crowned.

They would then voice their support for the new king by shouting,

The king is dead. Long live the king!

In Part 2 of this course, we noted the fading away of the old image of

God above us in the sky due to the growing awareness of the enormous

size of the universe. After all, for the universe to be filled with the

Creators omnipresent consciousness, the Creator has to be greater in size

than the Creation.

It has taken time to let go of the general belief that we on Earth are the

center of all Creation. Fortunately, while the old concept of God in the

sky has faded away, the new concept of God within brings us so much

closer to the Creator and all of Creation. It is therefore fair to say, Long

live the new, expanded concept of God!

We are aspects of the one Creator, as are all things in existence. Better

yet, as human beings, we are endowed with self-awareness, with the

curiosity to learn new things, and also with one especially undervalued

faculty imagination.

The expression, Its only your imagination, is one that belittles your

greatest faculty. The true situation is revealed in another expression; We

were made in the image of God. The word image here does not mean

looks like. After all, it would be hard to envisage a Creator larger than

its creation the universe having two arms and two legs. The word

image really means that we were created in the imagination of the

Creator.

Imagination is your one creative faculty.

Now, if someone tells you that love is in the air, now you can reply

knowingly, Yes, it is! You just have to reach out and touch the love of

that aspect of the Creator to know that you are made from love and that

you are loved, now and for all time.

As humans, we have inherited the power to create. Granted, our field of

influence is human-size instead of universe-size, but the principle

remains the same.

In the human realm, the Law of Creation is best stated in this form:

Creation = Intention + Attention + Action

And thatis the key to creating a better life!

Next week, we will discuss the keys to making this formula

work successfully and effectively. Until then...

Part 4 - How to Create a Better Life

You can create anything you want in your life. For a start, how about true

happiness, vibrant wellness, and profound spiritual awakening? Anything

that you desire and can imagine will manifest in your life provided you

follow the rules of the Law of Creation:


The Law of Creation itself looks simple enough but people oftenmisinterpret it and meet with disappointment instead of the success that

can so easily be theirs. The Law of Creation was powerful enough to

create the universe, so you can be certain that it can also create any new

conditions that you desire in your life.

Imagination is the greatest power in the universe because it creates

everything. It is your God-given creative faculty. With it, you can reach

your greatest potential and fill your life with an amazing sense of

achievement.

People labor under the misapprehension that they are bound by

circumstances. This is merely an appearance. The reality is that your

creative faculty holds incredible power over your circumstances. Once

you appreciate your inbuilt transformative ability, that power is yours to

wield and your life will immediately change for the better.

Imagination gives you the power to engineer entire new realities that

develop your lifes potential to the maximum. You should be free to

achieve everything that you are capable of achieving. Using your

imagination to create new realities is a solid feat of design engineering,

not something vague in a realm of non-reality.

Circumstances can easily be changed by the creative power ofimagination, applied with intent and energy so that a desired new reality

materializes into existence. In order to express this creative capability,

you need to attend to every part of the Law of Creation:


Intention After deciding upon a desired goal, you need to imagine what

that goal will look like once it is made manifest. Imagine yourselfexperiencing the end result. Do not imagine the process that leads up to

the end result as the universe will find the shortest route in its own way,

just as water always finds its own particular route from the hills to lower

ground.

Attention Then, add the feeling part of the formula. This is the energy

that gives life to the intention. This is where you feel the excitement of

what it is like to be a part of that manifested goal. Imagine how it feels toexperience that new reality. Catch the mood in order to fully immerse

yourself in that new reality. To be in balance, the feeling part of this

exercise should receive as much focus and energy as the creative-thought

part. Energize the feelings that will come with your experience of the end

result.

Action Finally, there is the Action part of the formula. Even though the

process of creation will facilitate the manifestation of your intention, you

still have to take the series of actions that will lead to the manifestation of

the desired goal. You are the physical agent through which the power of

the new creation will transform your circumstances.

Making It All Work

The key to success is to allow your soul or superconscious mind to

orchestrate the circumstances leading up to the manifestation of your

desire. Helping behind the scenes is what the soul part of you does

anyway. That part of you has an expanded view of your reality, of your

possibilities, and it has complete communication with all other souls in

existence. When you want something organized behind the scenes, your

soul is the part of you that will achieve this with ease and elegance.

There is a gestation time in which you need to let go of the idea from

your conscious mind and let things begin to be organized by your soul

consciousness in the background. After inner gestation, ideas will begin

to come to mind about possible ways to move toward your goal. These

intuitive ideas will flash into your mind, often two or three times in one

day so that your conscious mind gets the message.

Make sure that your desired goal has a practical way to come intomanifestation. Most unsuccessful attempts at creating more financial

abundance fail in this, the action stage. For example, if a person wanted

extra income but did nothing to increase the value of their services, then

theyve blocked the way for its manifestation. There is no magic wand

that will compel people to overpay another person.

A free market pays what a person is worth, so the answer to your finding

more abundance is to manifest ways that make you worth more to otherpeople. You can either expand your skills or use the skills you already

possess to serve more people. Either way, use the process of creating a

better reality to transform the dream into a reality.

Use the process of creating a better reality. Use the power of intention to

create the desired effect, then get ready to watch the universe adapt to

your new vision of who you are. Turn your visualization over to your

soul consciousness to find the best path to success, and doors will openeasily in your path towards improving your value to others.

How to Make Successful Decisions

Sometimes, along the path towards your goal, you find yourself faced

with two or more possibilities and you have to choose one of them. How

will you know what steps to take and when? Fortunately, you have an

inner compass which always points in the right direction.

Every time you think of your desired new reality, ask yourself what

course of action fills you with the most inner joy. What is the most

exciting thing you could do now to bring you closer to that goal?

Inner joy comes from your soul and, when you detect more joy in the idea

of taking Course of Action A rather than Course of Action B, then youhave detected a stronger alignment with your soul awareness relating to

Course of Action A.

The most joyful idea at any moment is the next step in your journey

towards your self-made destiny.

Inner joy is the compass towards your hearts desire.

Part 5 - The Secret of Personal

Magnetism

Healthy relationships are critical to peoples happiness and yet, most

people are not aware of the energetics of attraction. People of good heart

are drawn to you primarily, not by some combination of your physicalfeatures, but by the personal magnetism that radiates from your heart.

When people open their hearts to unselfish, unconditional love, a whole

new world of possibilities opens. This is heart-centered awareness. Rather

than spending effort avoiding the selfishness of others, they spend time

making sure that the way they choose to serve society is done in the best

way possible. When people can trust others to treat each other with love

and respect rather than as competitors, then everyone gains.

As heart-centered awareness grows and blooms within society, peoples

primary focus will shift away from service to self and towards service to

others. When it does, the world will transform out of all recognition.

But you dont have to wait for all of society to catch up. In both your

personal and professional dealings with people, you have a reputation,

and it is fed by word-of-mouth recommendation. Build your reputation as

someone who tends to give more than is expected of them, and you will

find yourself becoming increasingly popular in both your business and

personal lives. People respond to heartfelt action and, as they say, What

goes around comes around.

Action and reaction are opposite and equal in all types of thought andaction. Your heartfelt action, by automatic reaction, will create a heartfelt

reality among you and the people who are attracted to your energy. When

you operate mainly out of a heart-centered frequency, you will notice that

people are attracted to you in all aspects of your life. Friends, lovers,

professional associates, and everyone will be attracted to your magnetic

personality.

Personal magnetism has been one of the great mysteries of life simplybecause, in the past, so few people have operated from that heart-centered

frequency of awareness on a routine basis. However, its really no secret.

Its just one of those common-sense facts of life.

The secret of personal magnetism is that the more you unconditionally

love people, the more they love you. You dont have to make a big deal

out of it. You dont have to stand there like some transmitter beacon,

radiating huge amounts of heart energy. Perhaps top stage performers do,but you dont. You can be very quiet about it and everyone will be quietly

drawn to you. Everyone of a similar nature, that is. Everyone who

appreciates kindness and a truly warm, genuine smile.

In other words, youll attract the very best of friends.

Theres nothing more attractive than a warm smile from a

person who quietly radiates a sense of unconditional love for

themselves and all others.

Part 6 - The Global Shift to Higher

Consciousness

A day is coming when the Earth will rise in the heavens vibrationally. This

beautiful Mother Earth will experience an increase in the frequency of all

matter in a quantum leap that takes her, us, and everything in the world to a

higher plane of existence.

We have been experiencing a gradual rise in the frequency of all physical

matter since the 1960s, when the Earth was imbued with the cosmicenergies, which will eventually culminate in the main event of The Shift.

The increasing rate of change that we have been experiencing in the world

is symptomatic of the increasing presence of these cosmic energies in the

human realm.

The Shift is the greatest evolutionary leap in the history of humankind. It is

the spiritual and creative awakening of humanity. In the emerging New

Reality consciousness, we experience new vistas of awareness, new levels

of creativity, and follow our hearts to make our own meaningfulcontributions towards the betterment of the world.

There are specific stages in the evolution of the humanity, both at the

individual and societal level. You can tell that these stages are encoded into

the design of the human experience because they correspond exactly to the

main chakras or energy centers in the subtle anatomy of each human.

As you will see in the diagram, the root and the crown chakras are singular

energy centers while the other five chakras are dual in nature, having both

front and back faces.

In the earliest days of Stone Age experience, the individual drive for basic

survival in stage 1 gave way to the gathering of clans for mutual protection.

Once safety was established, stage 3 emerged where the more adventurous

people went exploring far and wide to find better opportunities for their

clans.

As the ethic of courage developed, so did conflict and disorder among the

young and the restless. Stage 4 emerged as the solution an era where

natural leaders rose into position to maintain an ordered sense of purpose.

Rules were made, which were to be followed for the good of the whole.

As people settled into this era of feudal society, the foundation for stage 5

and the Age of Reason was slowly being prepared. Ordered purpose is one

thing, the foremost thinkers began to say, but how long are you supposed to

wait for the promised rewards of obeying orders?

The dawning of intellectual reasoning brought greater vistas of human

possibility than before. The application of intellect brought forth new

inventions and new ways of catering to the needs of society. The spreading

waves of initiative and opportunity led onwards to the Industrial

Revolution, which transformed the all-pervasive peasant class into wage-

earners of comparative prosperity.

Today, the stage 5 era of self-serving intellect is drawing to a close as the

new, heart-centered consciousness emerges. More than one in five adults

today have stepped into stage 6 consciousness and beyond.

When a person begins to explore heart-centered consciousness, they

typically develop environmental awareness. As more people do this,

increasing pressures are applied to contain the polluting side-effects of

rampant industrial growth and to introduce long-term sustainability. Stage 6

is where the vistas of awareness expand yet again to include issues that are

important for the greater good of society.

Stage 7 is of particular significance because it is the first stage of spiritual

awareness. While stage 6 allowed people to acclimatize to the feel of

holistic, heart-centered consciousness, stage 7 springs this potential into

action. With this holistic-active chakra, people learn how to express the all-

inclusive vision of the heart and start to make a real difference in the world.

While the sixth chakra face in stage 6 is heartfelt, the seventh chakra face is

heart-powered.

Part 7 - Unprecedented Spiritual

Growth

The main event of The Shift will occur when the Earth makes asignificant rise in frequency, carrying us into a more subtle level of

physical existence. At the same time, those in the afterlife will be risen to

a higher frequency of existence, as in the Biblical prediction that, the

dead shall be risen.

People will be aware that the physical world has changed. They will

notice that colors are brighter, sounds have a deeper dimension, the sky

looks different, the stars are brighter, and telepathy is a lot easier to

achieve. This will be the start of life in a less dense physical reality. For

spiritual seekers, what happens next is the really exciting part.

Higher states of consciousness will become even easier to achieve when

you have a physical body which, like all matter, will be made up of less

dense physical matter than before. Extended forays into soul

consciousness and its joyful state of beingness will become popular as the

new frontier of exploration. Body and spirit will work hand in hand for

rapid evolution and transformation.

As your consciousness continues to rise, so too will the frequency of your

physical body. You will be able to explore even higher realms of

vibratory existence. As you do, your life span will extend, making still

more progress possible while in the same physical body. A great push for

higher potential will emerge among spiritual seekers simply because the

floodgates of progress will be wide open as, indeed, they already are

today.

Never before in the history of humanity have we faced such enormous

potential for advancement and spiritual progress as we do today. If you

acquire one life-enhancing new habit right now, it should be to take

advantage of every opportunity for spiritual development because the

results can be phenomenal.

Every step that you take today from spiritual study to healing to

creating a better world will be a giant leap in your personal evolution.

Never before has such progress been possible in such a short period of

time.
