Our teamAshlands employs approximately 36 staff all of whom are trained in the key aspects of care delivery, to ensure the provision of a safe, quality service to our client group.

Our staff also benefit from a vocational training programme, and are regularly supported by our Quality Matters Team to embark upon specialist issues related to the needs of elderly clients, with an emphasis on internal promotion and staff development.

LocationAshlands is located just a short distance from Leicester City Centre in a quiet, attractive residential area offering clients opportunities to join in community based activities, taking advantage of all local amenities.

Accommodation and servicesAshlands is a Design Award nominated purpose built residential care centre, offering 37 single bedrooms, with full en-suite bathrooms, for clients whose needs are associated with the ageing process, and/or an associated physically disability. Ashlands benefits from beautifully maintained, secure garden areas, giving clients the opportunity to embark upon woodland walks and follow our interactive nature trail.

Activities All of our clients will be encouraged to take part in our daily activity programme, including access to our hairdressing salon and our games room, complete with a Nintendo Wii, which has become a firm favourite with afternoon games of ten pin bowling and golf to be enjoyed for the more active!

Prospective clients Prior to being offered a place, prospective clients will be encouraged to view all available vacant accommodation, and visit for a trial day where they can fully experience the home. In advance of a place being offered a bespoke care plan based on the individuals needs and choices will be implemented with input from all supporting family members focusing on health and social care needs. Whilst we very much regard it as our responsibility to provide a safe, secure environment, we will encourage all clients to participate in all that we offer, welcoming you to enjoy life at PrimeLife, Ashlands.
