To deliver high quality research to our clientsrequires a big team effort with everyoneplaying to their strengths. The two biggestteams at Research Partnership are ourresearch and fieldwork teams who areinterdependent but with distinct roles. Theresearch team works with the client todefine the questions to ask, analyses thedata and reports the research results backto the client - this role may involve travel.The fieldwork team is office based andmanages our partner agencies around theworld in recruiting our respondents in orderto ask the questions and collect the data weneed for the research.

Our history and cultureResearch Partnership was launched in 1997by our two founding directors as a specialistglobal healthcare market researchconsultancy and is now one of the largest,independent agencies of its kind in the world.We have enjoyed sustained and continuedgrowth over the years, even during periodsof recession. Your roleIn your first year your role will focus onproject management and analysis; you willbe working on multiple projects at a time.
To ensure you receive a broad groundingin a range of market research techniquesand methodologies, you will support teamson both quantitative and qualitative studies.Working across both research disciplines,you will find no two days are the same.Responsibilities will range from contentanalysis of qualitative interviews to thecharting of quantitative data in PowerPoint,as well as day-to-day project managementresponsibilities on internationalresearch studies.
You will also be responsible for liaising withour fieldwork department and externalagencies to recruit respondents(e.g. doctors, nurses, patients) who agreeto participate in our market research.
As you progress further into your careerwith us, you will gain more responsibility formaterial design, report writing, presentingand overseeing an internal team. Withthe majority of our 180+ annual projectsconducted in multiple markets you will getthe chance to research markets across theglobe and have the opportunity to travel.
Our clients often want to view the researchlive at a Central Location in order to observehow respondents answer their questions.In this situation, someone from RP willattend to ensure the client is satisfiedwith the research and that everything isrunning smoothly.

Your role - syndicated researchAs a syndicated graduate, you will beworking primarily with our Therapy Watchteam, where we manage large scale andlong term tracking projects, often withmultiple clients, using data provided byphysicians on the patients they haverecently treated.
There is also the opportunity to be involvedin the Living With team, where we reporton data provided by the patients themselveson their experience of living withchronic disease
New joiners in the syndicated team areinvolved in each stage of the project - fromcreating the surveys, working with ourinternal fieldwork team, processing the data,as well as updating our client reports andour online interactive dashboard tools.
You will have the opportunity to specialise inseveral therapy areas, such as autoimmune,virology or oncology. You will be providedwith training on the systems we usewithin the department to handle our data– Confirmit which is an industry standardonline survey tool and SPSS which we useto analyse the data collected.

Your roleAs an ad-hoc field project coordinatoryou will manage our partner agencies torecruit respondents from healthcare (e.g.doctors, nurses, patients, etc) who agree toparticipate in our market research. You willplay an integral role in the project team.
A vital part of the job is being the liaisonpoint between external agencies and ourinternal researchers within the companyso good communications skills are key.
As you develop into your role you willmanage the entire fieldwork processon a project, and manage more junioremployees. You will need to developnegotiation skills as you try to get the bestprices on a project. You will ensure thatprojects run smoothly and that the higheststandards of research are maintained.
Office based, this role is very variedand requires people with strong projectmanagement skills and the ability to beflexible and adaptable. You will havethe opportunity to work on complexglobal projects and learn a lot about thepharmaceutical industry, therapy areas andlocal markets.
