• More and more people are using VOIP. Suppose you are on some web-page and you see a telephone number, and you want to call that number.

What is the solution ?

• What do you do ? Well, here is an easy way. "Enjay Synapse click 2 call for Asterisk" is utility for

the Asterisk / Enjay Synapse server. This chrome extension will convert all the Telephone numbers on any web-page into clickable items, so that you just click on the same and the call is made. In case the link is not created, you may select that number and do right click, to dial the number.

Prerequisites

1. Server side: Asterisk/Enjay Synapse server to be configured

2. Server side: Extensions to be created for users3. Client side: Chrome browser to be installed

• What information you need to know before configuration of Chrome extension ?– Asterisk /Enjay Synapse Manager username– Asterisk /Enjay Synapse Manager password– URL of your Asterisk /Enjay Synapse server– Port no of your Asterisk / Enjay Synapse server– Extension number

How to configure it

• Fill up related configuration information,

Setting to be done on Asterisk / Enjay Synapse

• Extract the chromec2c.php from downloaded zip file.

• With Administrator access, Place this file to appropriate web accessible resource of your Asterisk/ Enjay Synapse.

• e.g. 1. /var/www/html (in Asterisk) 2. /var/www (in Enjay Synapse)

detected, select it use right click menu function to call

Known issue

• If Number detection and hyperlink feature is enable then some of websites (with jQuery implemented) will not work properly.
