Write 5 sentences using apostrophes to show contractions. Tuesday Focus: direct and indirect speech Online task - Complete the daily lesson (9 th June) and activities from the BBC Bitesize website: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zncsscw/year-6-lessons/1 Alternative non-screen-based task – “Think about a memorable conversation you have had recently,” said Mrs Brookman. “Why!” asked the children. “Because I would like you to write it out to practise your use of direct speech,” smiled Mrs Brookman. Do you need to change the genre you are writing in? Which did you find more of a challenge? Investigate the different environments and weather in Brazil. Create a PowerPoint to share the answers to these questions: What is the weather like in Brazil? Name the rainforest. Why is it called a rainforest? Is it always hot in Brazil? How often does it rain?

Tuesday Science

Create a rainforest in a bottle. When you go out for a walk next gather some small twigs and foliage to create a rainforest in a bottle. Can you make a canopy and a shrub layer?

Music Physical Exercise
